We are committed to providing quality care at an affordable cost to working families. We provide full-time and part-time service between the regular hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Teaching Tots is for children between the ages of newborn to 4 years old.
Here at Teaching Tots Home Daycare we believe that children thrive in a friendly setting, where each of the children receives the special attention they deserve.
We believe that children need to laugh, dance, play, relax, enjoy their environment, and learn new things daily. Our daily activities provide children with the opportunity to play outdoors and indoors, both freely and with structure but not overly structured.
We are dedicated to providing a warm, loving and inviting atmosphere that allows children to develop at their own pace. We appreciate each child as a unique individual and approach each interaction and activity with this in mind.
We’re committed to all the children in our care, and to their families. Our goal here is to bring together the child's home and daycare lives, to create an extended family in which the child feels safe, secure and most of all loved.
Teaching Tots program has been very successful in teaching toddlers their fundamentals and foundation of skills to achieve great strengths to prepare for elementary school. Monthly calendar and schedules posted for parents to view what their children are doing each day.
Children in our care will learn through colors, shapes, numbers, playing in groups, and playing individually. Children will be encouraged to participate in arts and crafts, music and dance, various physical activities through Tiny Tots On The Move.
As each child grows, they will be introduced to potty training, basic manners, plus much more, in a fun and age-appropriate way.
Here at Teaching Tots we believe in healthy eating through the canadian food guide and we aim to provide the children in our care with the most healthiest and nutritious foods and snacks.

All parents want their kids to do well in school. You know how happy they'll be if the confidence, the grades, the good health and the friendships are all working for them.
You know how secure their future will be if they finish school successfully, and they have earned the right to apply for a wide choice of careers.
This doesn't always happen, of course. Some kids run into problems because they're not ready for one side or another of school life. The last thing any parents would want is for their child to be left behind.
It's so very important to give preschoolers and toddlers a good foundation, with the basic education they need to succeed in school. Tots need daily exercise. They need to know their letters, colours, numbers and shapes. They need to know how to work and play well with one another and with their teachers.
Tots also need structure in their days, so they know they're safe, they have an idea of what's coming next, they get enough rest, and they have no time to get into trouble. They need space and time to play, and a large variety of games, toys and activities to play with and learn from.
Tots need plenty of time to practice, to do something over and over again until they're proficient -- and they know it!
