Teaching Tots

A Foundation For Life

One main focus of the Teaching Tots Program is the Whiteboard. This is a helpful and convenient tool to help parents stay right on top of what their Tots will be doing throughout the day. Such things as the "Topic of the Month" and the daily menu would be displayed here. It's also convenient to hold reminders, such as an appointment or a medication schedule, and gives you an instant view of the planned daily routine. The Whiteboard also shows the "Fundamental of the Month", whether it be numbers, shapes, colours or letters. The Teaching Tots Program provides step-by-step instructions and scheduled activities for you to create your own unique and functional Whiteboard. Another component of the Teaching Tots Program is instructions for constructing, decorating and presenting a parent-friendly Corkboard. The Corkboard is a vital part of the Teaching Tots Program; it shows parents all the month's activities, day by day, scheduled for their little ones. Instructions are included for making an eye-catching Corkboard, and for displaying your Monthly Tot Calendar and Designed Topic Activity Pages on it, both featuring the Fundamental of the Month. The Corkboard is an excellent communications tool, providing an overview of your activities for the month.

Along with fun and learning come reward and recognition for the children. So you'll also receive the Teaching Tots Monthly Motivational Award System. This aims to help the children in making daily decisions. There are three areas: Daily Involvement, Daily Reminders and My Don'ts. The award system is based on what you teach the Tots, and how well they absorb and follow direction in the many activities the Tots perform each day. Stickers are a popular reward, and each child's booklet of sticker pages can be made up at month's end for the child to brag about and compare to previous months. All the information for constructing and carrying out the Monthly Motivational Award System is included. What's seen in this picture are four monthly front pages to My Monthly Motivational Award System Sticker Album. The Album also includes three other detailed pages to be filled with stickers.

Another tremendous long-term feature of the Teaching Tots Program is that not only is it fun for Tots to learn and practice school-age skills, but parents have peace of mind knowing that their children are successfully learning the fundamentals they'll need for many school years to come. Every fundamental in Teaching Tots has a specialized activity. Some of the many activities included in the Teaching Tots Program are fun, interactive worksheets that the children will love completing. Using large traceable outlines of numbers and letters, these worksheets guide children to learn and recognize the shapes they'll eventually use to read and write on their own. By simply practicing outlining the numbers and letters, they begin to remember what they've seen and done, and soon they will be able to complete each exercise on their own. The Tots will experienc worksheets for all the fundamentals, as every month has a new set to work with! With numbers, colours, letters, and shapes. Shapes are always eye catching for little ones on the move. From drawing and colouring them to using building blocks to make castles, Tots always love activities involving shapes. That's why Teaching Tots has yet another fun activity called "The Circle of Squares game:. Here they learn and practice numbers, and colours play a part too. The main purpose of The Circle of Squares game is to familiarize the Tots with its different colours and numbers. What's even more appealing about the game: you don't need a lot of space to set it up. Whether on the carpet or directly on the floor, you'll need only a few materials to start the fun.

One of the most talked-about activities in the Teaching Tots Program is the "Airport Activity". This activity gives Tots the pleasure of playing with something they know about, while focusing their attention on recognizing numbers and counting. From creating your popsicle stick airplanes all the way to assembling your Airport and helicopter pad, Teaching Tots provides you with instructions and a list of all materials needed to build your very own Airport right in your home. The Airport is built on the Activity Wall, and takes under an hour for one person to complete. An exercise program with five days a week in full description. Introducing to you "Tiny Tots on the Move" Marching Band. We all know how we have to get rid of all that excess energy that Tots carry; well, this 20 minutes of "Tiny Tots on the Move" will channel their energy into all the appropriate ways which really work for Tots. "Tiny Tots on the Move" bring lots of laughter and joy into your young minds, and with such exercise comes much balance.
