Number Worksheets

By having many activities in a one day span, most of them involving the Number of the Day, your Tots receive great support in learning one new number each day.  During your day, focusing on the number of the day in several ways will build your Tots' recognition -- strengthening them when it comes to doing their worksheets.  Tots will understand each number's meaning because the worksheet shows that quantity of symbols: six arrows, or fourteen flowers, for example, each numbered - ready to colour.  Their receptiveness to the idea of "number" increases because of this attention to detail on every worksheet.

How to work with number worksheets

  • Start by colouring in the Number of the Day
  • Then count each shape to see its number, and learn the order of counting: the last number counted will be the Number of the Day
  • Colour the symbols
  • Colour the two pale numbers following the bright number within the guidelines
  • If confident, draw the Number of the Day in the space within the guidelines

Every recipe tested in our "kitchen" --- every single piece of the Curriculum has been tested on, verified with and approved by real Tots.
