The Teaching Tots Program – the Rolled-out Curriculum™ – prepares young minds for those many school years ahead. It’s fun, simple and structured; and it provides critical tools to foster the future growth of your children. These cover four essential fundamentals of learning -- letters, numbers, colours and shapes -- in ways that children love.
The Teaching Tots Program was developed with both children and parents in mind. Not only are the activities and fundamentals exciting for your children to learn and complete, but parents will notice changes in their attitude and interaction, plus a new-found independence. Many of the activities are fun and engaging for parents to try with your Tots even after the day is done.
One of the most valuable advantages of using the Rolled-out Curriculum is that all of the hard work has already been compiled into a step-by-step program, from developing and updating your daily whiteboard to planning your weekly activities. Teaching Tots gives you the confidence and knowledge to fulfill your dreams of providing a high quality curriculum, without breaking the bank.
A major feature of the Rolled-out Curriculum is its flexibility and versatility.
Teaching Tots has something for every little curious mind to do.
Now, we all know that planning and developing new activities every month can sometimes be a difficult task. That’s why Teaching Tots has done all the development for you. Every month you'll receive over 30 new activities that you can prepare easily and complete with your children. Activities like mixing colours, Picture Journal, Match a Rhyme, and one of the children’s favourites – Scarf Dance, are all included in the twelve monthly issues. Every month’s assortment of fun, interactive activities can be prepared and reused as often as you like.
Moreover, each month you’ll receive at least a dozen more learning activities focusing exclusively on the Fundamental of the Month - letters, numbers, shapes or colours.
Structure is the key to successful and well-behaved children. Each component of the Teaching Tots Program provides structure and connects with all the other components. Yet each component is also straightforward to follow, both for Tots and parents, and each one will be eagerly anticipated every day by your Tots once they become familiar with its function.
Each component of the Curriculum would be quite helpful on its own.
But it’s only when you combine them all, that major improvements start to emerge.Your Tots will get involved with the components! For instance, they’ll gather round the Corkboard and listen while you point to, and read, the Activity of the Day to them in the morning. I’ve often had Tots ask me something like this: “Patricia, when are we going to the Corkboard? We need to know the activity today.”
You’ll see a Tot's disappointment when she gets three stickers for good behaviour in three areas and one red dot for misbehaviour in the fourth area, and she’ll try harder the next day to remember what to do so all the stickers are earned and the red dots won’t be needed.
