A Sample Issue - what's inside

There are very good reasons why so many people

use the Rolled-out Curriculum every month...

EVERY ISSUE - Contains a variety of components like the ones shown below.

The components work together to present the month's Fundamental and

Topic to your Tots in many different and fun ways.

Title Page, showing the Fundamental and Topic of the Month.

As you can see, we're using the January 2009 issue as our sample.

Instructions for setting up and using your Whiteboard with the Rolled-out Curriculum.  Note the inset in the photo below, showing our Whiteboard with January's Schedule drawn on it.  Have fun with this, using your own style; give your Tots some colourful pictures to look up to.

A full-page Daily Schedule, followed by a few pages with full descriptions of each activity on the Schedule.  You can copy the Schedule to your Whiteboard with erasable markers, or print it if you prefer.

Involve your Tots with the Schedule, by telling them each time you refer to it to find the next activity.  Soon enough they'll be helping you to remember what it says.

When you find the activities on the Whiteboard a little repetitious, you can introduce several other activities that are related to the Fundamental of the Month.

Here, the page shows Working with Numbers from Whiteboard (extras).

Every month's issue offers plenty of Extras.  There's a great range of choices!

Sample issue: Number extras

A major month-long activity, for your Tots to enjoy learning the Fundamental of the Month.  In this case, with the Fundamental of Numbers, you'll find the Airport Activity.

Full instructions for: building an airport on your Activity Wall, making popsicle stick airplanes (including one for each Tot to play pretend-flying), and how to guide a Tot to land an airplane and taxi it to its Number of the Day parking space, are all included.

Tots become so excited when learning their numbers!

In most issues you'll receive a floor game also based on the Fundamental of the Month.  Here you can see the Circle of Squares game, filled with fun.  This activity educates your preschoolers to understand the outcomes in playing a game in which they move, and learn how to count, at the same time.

Instructions for Singing by 2's - 5's - 10's.  This is always more fun with a visual guide, so you'll find instructions for making a simple wall display with paper and paint.

Here you'll find a short description of the Corkboard, with a photo showing how you can display the Designed Activity descriptions, the monthly Calendar, and a weather display too. (The weather display is not included in the Rolled-out Curriculum.)

You're encouraged to decorate your Corkboard so your Tots, even if they can't recognize letters yet, will find it attractive.  Then they'll be even more interested in listening to you, when you stand here and read the instructions for the Designed Activity of the Day.

The month's Calendar, showing the Topic and Fundamental of the Month at left, and in each weekday's space, the date and the title of the Designed Activity of the Day.

Pin the Calendar up onto your Corkboard to get your Tots interested in the fun that's coming!

Here's a different Designed Activity for every day.  These are the surprises that Tots look forward to with anticipation.  Each Activity brings out a variety of skills within the program curriculum.

With Designed Activities, you'll have a different conversation each day on some little project or plan.  Beyond the fun little tasks of the Designed Activities themselves, the opportunity for you to communicate with your Tots comes up again and again, while you both learn something new.

  • It's all about bonding moments, time set aside each day for doing something special, together.

There's nothing like a sticker album to reward wonderful children!

They love it, especially when they get to keep the album after the month is over.

Then a new one begins again!

Sample Issue: Award System

Look at the quality and attractive design of all the worksheets.

They grab the eyes of children of all ages.

During my years of teaching tots, I've had various age groups come up to me, asking who are these for, or what are they used for.

Next they'll mention how attractive each worksheet looks.

You know what happens after that -- they ask if they can do one!

Sample Issue: Worksheets

When you become a member (when you purchase an issue of the Rolled-out Curriculum), you'll have full access to the Tiny Tots on the Move exercise system, and to the printable icons for the Award System board.

Considering all that's at hand inside a monthly issue, it's a truly complete combination.

And it's all delivered as an easy step-by-step curriculum program.

Every item in an issue is connected to the others by way of a natural formula that's in sequence, so that all of the items work seamlessly together.

A superb formula, I may add!

Every recipe tested in our "kitchen" --- every single piece of the Curriculum has been tested on, verified with and approved by real Tots.
